Monument “The Reserve Officer”

The monument pays tribute to the concept of the reserve officer. It was erected following a decision of the Association of Reserve Officers of Florina and is the work of the sculptor Nikola Dogoulis, made of brass. It is a realistic representational column, which was installed on 07/11/1998 after a sponsorship by Prodromos Emfietzoglou during the mayoralty of Demetrios Stylou with the Association of Reserve Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of Florina as its sponsor. It is located in the centre of the square of the Reserve Officers with a frontage northwards to Augustinou Kantioti Street.
The purpose of the work is to honour the anonymous reserve officer, while it has a capital inscription ” MACEDONIA IS GREEK “.
