Cultural Summer of the Municipality of Florina

The Municipality of Florina established the “Cultural Summer” as a great cultural event event that takes place every year in July and August, with high-quality and varied events that both citizens and visitors of the region have the opportunity to enjoy.
The dozens of small and large events planned every year by the Municipality of Florina, become an occasion for locals and visitors to meet and not only to be entertained but also to get to know, especially the visitors, the tradition, history, customs and traditions of the place.
Concerts of popular artists, traditional bands of the region, film screenings, theatrical screenings, theatre performances, artists’ exhibitions, games, children’s activities, events for youth, the elderly and the disabled accompany the cultural programme every year.
Alongside the cultural summer of the Municipality of Florina, the “Prespia” events are held in August, which bring together leading names of art from Greece and abroad. These events have been established as an institution that enhances the cultural life of the region, as it attracts a large number of people to attend them.
The aim of the Municipality is, apart from the moments of relaxation and entertainment that the “Cultural Summer” offers, to establish new cultural and innovative events that will highlight the local and cultural heritage of our country.
