Armenochori Fair

The five-day religious fair of the village of Armenochori in the context of celebrating the retrieval of the relics of Saint Naum has been established in the surrounding area in recent years. Traders arrive from other areas to sell their wares. The goods they sell cover all the needs for the family from clothing and footwear, all kinds of tools to glassware, pots, legumes, etc.
From early morning till late at night the traders await visitors with a multitude of goods at the most affordable prices. At the same time, there are also catering outlets and amusement parks for children. Every year thousands of visitors are there. Quality traditional food, with local delicacies salads, souvlaki stand out, affordable merchandise, children’s games, dancing, entertainment, culture, service, hospitality, tradition, development, are some of the elements of the success that has become a tradition. In addition to the commercial transactions, the fair gave visitors the opportunity for fun and revelry that they so desperately needed.
